West Coast Personnel understands the difficulties and frustrations of Job Seekers seeking new opportunities. Therefore each applicant is very important to us! Our consultants are carefully selected, fully trained and well capable of giving sound advice in employment related issues.

 How does West Coast Personnel function?

West Coast Personnel provides professional recruitment services to a selected group of companies by supplying them with quality staff on request. The people we look for and refer are the best in what they do. We charge our clients for this service and there is no cost to a candidate. Although we value you, the job seeker, we are careful not to create unfair expectations of finding you employment.

All qualifying candidates are invited to an interview with a consultant who understands the specific needs of our Client Companies. They specialize in matching candidates to those positions and employ every effort to ensure that people are placed in positions where they will grow and prosper. We would rather not refer you than place you in a position that doesn’t suit you.

We are not able respond immediately to each and every CV received, but will definitely do so if there is any chance of placing you. We will also only request an interview if we have a client with a suitable vacancy. All Job Seeker information is treated confidentially, and we will not act on your behalf without clarifying an opportunity with you first.

 Areas of specialization

We place people at quality companies and although we specialize in Financial/Accounting, Managerial, Professional, Engineering, Qualified Technical, IT/Computer, Sales/Marketing and Office Support Staff, we do from time to time have requirements for people in other fields – keep your eyes on our “Current Jobs” page!

Although people are mostly placed in permanent positions, we often place candidates in contract or temporary positions, depending on client requirements.

 What do we require from our candidates?

The more we know about you, the better we can assist in placing you in the right position. For that reason we request an electronic CV and photo, and that our application forms are completed thoroughly!

Before accepting a position, make sure that this is really what you want to do. Our pledge to clients is that we will only refer people able to perform the required function, and who are willing to commit to a long term engagement. You are the key in fulfilling that pledge!
